  • Leaked panel shows thin bezels on Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018)
  • Panel also points to two front-facing camera sensors on new Galaxy A8
  • Asus and Lenovo already brought dual-selfie camera smartphones

While its siblings were well leaked previously, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is now in rumours as the top-end model in the new Galaxy A family. The front panel of the unannounced Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has been spotted in few renders that suggest its minimal bezels as well as two camera sensors on the front to capture compelling selfies.
The leaked front panel, courtesyGizChina, shows two circular cutouts that point to a dual-selfie camera setup on the Galaxy A8 (2018). Interestingly, companies like Asus and Lenovo opted for two front-facing camera sensors in the recent past, but Samsung hasn't yet brought any such hardware tweak. The South Korean company did unveil the Galaxy Note 8(review) with a dual rear camera setup earlier this year and brought the Galaxy J+ as an affordable dual-camera smartphone back in September.
In addition to the dual selfie camera, the leaked panel of the Galaxy A8 (2018) apparently suggests thin bezels on the left and right of its display. The panel doesn't look curved, unlike some of the recent bezel-less smartphones. However, the actual shape of the frontal view would be visible only on the handset - not through the surfaced glass panel.
Earlier this month, the Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A7 (2018) received Wi-Fi and FCC certification. Samsung also revealed the existence of both the new Galaxy A series smartphones through its official support pages. If we believe the details provided by the Wi-Fi Alliance, the Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A7 (2018) both will run Android 7.1 Nougat and have dual-band Wi-Fi support.
Some case renders of the Galaxy A5 (2018) had emerged last week that showed a thin-bezel display and a rear-facing fingerprint sensor on the new smartphone. Recent reports suggested that the Galaxy A5 (2018) will come with a 5.5-inch full HD+ display and include an Exynos 7885 chip, paired with 4GB RAM.
Considering some historical records, Samsung is expected to unveil its new Galaxy A range, including the Galaxy A5 (2018), Galaxy A7 (2018), the Galaxy A8 (2018), in January. The new lineup is also likely to be showcased at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with a dedicated Bixby Voice button, similar to the Galaxy S8 flagship.

The South Korean phone maker hasn’t revealed which of its other devices will get the Oreo update. Samsung has never been transparent about the Android updates, though it is a known fact that its flagships usually receive updates for two years or so.
Now thanks to a new leak, a list of Samsung Android devices that will allegedly get Oreo update has popped up on the Chinese social media site Weibo. While there’s no way to authenticate the list, but a well known Samsung tipster “Ice Universe” is said to have leaked the list.
As per the list, a total of 36 Samsung devices will be updated to the new Android 8.0 Oreo software. The long list contains most of the 2017 Galaxy A series as well 2016 flagships such as Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, and S6 Edge+. Many Samsung tablets are also touted to receive the Android Oreo update.
Moreover, the list contains the name of some of the unannounced 2018 Galaxy A series smartphones. The Galaxy A3 (2018), Galaxy A5 (2018)and Galaxy A7 (2018) will apparently come with Android Nougat at launch but will receive Oreo at some later date.

Reddit user CyberConCoder got confirmation from four different Samsung representatives, and while support centers aren't the most accurate source for such intel the sheer number makes it very likely that it's correct.
we see all three reps are consistent with their information. They say Samsung will push an Oreo update, but prefer not to mention when since the ETA of the upgrade is still unknown. One of the Samsung employees even said his supervisor confirmed the information.
Supporting a three generations old phone is something that Android makers rarely do, but hopefully we'll see a change in that trend.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The offer is only available in Delhi-NCR circle
  • There are daily and weekly caps to the bundled calls
  • Vodafone is providing 1GB data for the entire 28-day period

The entry of Reliance Jio in the telecom sector last year upended how the industry works, with data at rates lower than ever before and calls becoming completely free. Incumbent operators like Airtel and Vodafonesoon responded with data-heavy plans at tariffs competitive with those of Jio. Now is the turn of voice calls as Vodafone has come up with a new plan for Delhi-NCR circle that provides bundled calls and data. This prepaid recharge plan to rival Jio comes within days of Aircel launching a Rs. 104 pack that lowers call tariff to 20 paisa per minute for 365 days.
The new Vodafone plan is priced at Rs. 199 and comes with bundled calls and provides 1GB data with validity of 28 days. The local and STD calls are capped at a maximum of 250 minutes of free calls in a day and 1,000 minutes in a week. If the user exhausts this limit, they will be charged at 30 paisa per minute for subsequent calls.
Vodafone also says in its Terms & Conditions that users cannot make calls to more than 300 unique numbers in a 7-day period. If they breach the 300-people mark, all calls will be charged at 30 paisa per minute for the remaining validity.
Like other incumbents, Vodafone has been launching new offers to keep Jio at its toes. It recently updated its Rs. 348 plan to provide customers bundled calls and 1.5GB data per day, up from 1GB daily, for 28 days. In fact, Airtel and Idea Cellular also have 1.5GB data allocation plans under Rs. 350 nowadays.

With the year coming to end in next few weeks, rumours have started popping up about next year's premium smartphones. The first of these is the Samsung Galaxy S9 which is likely to be unveiled alongside a Plus variant in the first half of 2018. A new report claims that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will see a major design refresh compared to last year.
BGR claims that Samsung is working on its own facial recognition feature, one which would eventually compete with Apple's TrueDepth feature first seen on the iPhone X. An earlier report suggested that Samsung will improve its iris scanner to take on Apple's iPhone X facial recognition feature.
Other details tipped include dual camera setup at the back with vertical alignment instead of horizontal. A recent note by KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo also tipped the presence of a rear-facing dual camera setup on the Galaxy S9.
The new report also claims that Samsung will bring the fingerprint scanner back on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and it will be housed at the back panel. The company will reportedly house the fingerprint module just beneath the camera sensor. BGR has also shared a render of the Samsung Galaxy S9 that's built by a smartphone accessory maker based on the inputs from the handset's factory. BGR addsthat the render 'mostly' shows the new Galaxy S9 accurately but does have some changes like a narrower bezel at the top. Some of the other details rumoured for the Galaxy S9 include presence of 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
The report also claims that the Galaxy S9 will be powered by the company's in-house Exynos 9 Series 9810 SoC or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 which is likely to debut early next year.

Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Gets a Cheaper Variant With 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage

Free speech has been guaranteed by the Constitution, but this right has been violated by a series of arrests made across the country for posting content on social media platforms like facebook and WhatsApp which embarrasses the ruling establishment. Though the UPA era section 66A of the IT Act which was broadly worded enough to book you if you caused annoyance, inconvenience, insult or injury online has been scrapped by the supreme court indiscriminate social media arrests are cramping speech and debate.
According to a report on Times of India, in 2012 and 2013, a girl from Palghar, Maharashtra was arrested for criticizing Bal Thackeray’s state funeral and another girl was arrested for liking the comment. In another incident a 18-year old Zakir Ali Tyagi was put behind the bars for 42 days for asking how River Ganga was a living entity, and he went on to discuss BJP’s plans of building Ram Mandir. He was booked under section 420 of the IPC and Section 66A of the IT Act. He was brutally beaten by the police and labeled as a terrorist. After released from the jail he lost his job in the steel Plant.
On November 2nd this year, another person named Afghan Soni, a Meerut based Journalist was charged with defamation and “computer-related offences” (Section 66 of the IT Act) for posting a derogatory video of Narendra Modi. What was the “offensive” video? Modi asking a rally about ” achhe din “, and getting his response not from a crowd of people, but a herd of goats.
These arrests are not new and such instances reveal that, more than political dispensation, this is about the misplaced zeal of the criminal justice system, its general disregard for free speech, and its hypersensitivity to speech that irritates the political establishment.
N Ramachandran, a former DGP and president of the Indian Police Foundation, says that  “But the real problem is the misuse of these legal provisions by police officials going overboard,”  and also says that “Rather than rushing to arrest, the police should weigh the culpability and potential impact impartially, with utmost caution.”
The morphing of images may be a concern when women are misrepresented, but “by itself, a morphed image in a political caricature or piece of satire is not an illegal or criminal act”, says lawyer and internet freedom advocate Apar Gupta.
WhatsApp is where these tensions are strongest. Increasingly, WhatsApp administrators have been booked even for harmless remarks. “There’s a trend of using Section 144 of the CrPC, which applies to unlawful assemblies, to WhatsApp discussions,” says Gupta.
The Indore collector invoked section 144 of the CrPC to deter any conversation about demonetisation, and the Varanasi DM said that any false content on a WhatsApp group was grounds for arrest. “This is a threat, rather than a fair legal warning,” says Apar Gupta.
These charges do not hold in a court of law but the person has to face difficulties and deal with the harassment. These arrests are symptomatic of invasion of free speech in sibal’s view, a lawyer. He also says that  “Look at the way everyone is outraging about the movie Padmavati without anyone having seen it. It’s the same with the trigger-happy criminal justice system.”
The likelihood of these legal constraints makes us to be careful about the words we use on social media.

If you search for an article on any topic you are going to see Wikipedia listed on the first page and among the top four sites of the search engine. Similarly if you are looking for products to buy or sell you are bound to see eBay listed in the leading sites. Similarly look for books and now items to buy and Amazon is listed right on top. The question here is, how did these sites achieve these high rankings? One of the major reasons is that these sites have thousands of backlinks. And their backlinks are to high ranking websites.

Importance of backlinks

If other sites want to link to your website it means that they recognize that your site has dominance and authority in its category and by establishing a backlink to your site they hope to better their ranking. Similarly if yours is a new website, you want to create backlinks. The more backlinks to legitimate sites you have the better will be your ranking.
Creating quality backlinks takes time and there are no shortcuts to it. You must check the page ranking of a website before creating a backlink to it. Some websites allow other websites to create backlinks to it, whereas some do not. The reason for this is that they do not want spam sites creating links to their sites.
Recognizing the fact that backlinks played a major role in improving the ranking of websites, shysters started advertising and selling links to website owners who were unaware that they were being scammed. Search engines got wise to this fraud and started banning websites that were offering spam backlinks and they also blacklisted websites that had links to spam sites. Therefore, as a web master never buy backlinks from shady sites.
Before getting any backlinks make doubly sure that the website with which you are creating a backlink is a reputable and established site. Also always get links from websites that are in your category. For example if your website sells sports magazines get links with sports sites and news sites that cover sports. Don’t get links to car repair or dog training sites as these sites have no relevance to your site and search engines will become suspicious of your backlinks. Remember search engines are extremely smart and intelligent and they follow every websites backlinks and check if they are relevant to the content of the website. Because if a search engine blacklists a website because of it having shady backlinks, that will spell the end for that website.
Yes, websites do need backlinks but you must first check if the site that you are getting a backlink from has a high ranking and PR. It's better to build your backlinks slowly rather than rushing to create backlinks and stinging your site. Many webmasters have faced a bad experience when they bought spam backlinks which got their websites blacklisted by the search browsers.
Getting a top ranking is a tough and arduous job that takes time and patience. You cannot shoot to the top in page ranking even if you are selling top quality items. There are millions of websites on the internet and thousands more are being created every day. Therefore the competition for top ranking on search engines is a long battle and you have to use every legitimate tactic to achieve that target. Once you do you have to fight to retain it as someone will be trying to replace you. Creating and setting up a website is easy. The really tough part is making it to the first page in a search browser and to be listed among the first four or five sites.

Backlink maker

Search for backlink maker on the internet and you will find a number of sites imploring you to get backlinks from them. Before you decide to get free backlinks check the site ranking and PR of the site offering the backlinks.
Smallseotools.com has a backlink maker tool and the site guarantees that the backlinks that they supply are genuine and authentic and not spam links. Go to smallseotools.com from your search browser or copy/paste smallseotools.com/backlink-maker in the navigation bar of your search browser. Go to the backlink maker tool and enter the URL of your website. The application will start generating the backlinks for the site. It displays the name of the website and its PR ranking and the status. If a backlink is created successfully the status will read OK, if not the status will indicate not created.
The newly created backlinks will have no immediate impact on the ranking of your website. This is because search engines bots visit websites based on a schedule. After a few visits you will definitely see an improvement in the ranking of your website.
Be careful of sites that advertise 2500 backlinks, 2000 backlink generator and free backlinks generator online. These sites are probably scam sites who are trying to make a quick buck by fooling novice web owners. Only get backlinks from a trusted website, that's it. Click here

How To Create High Quality BackLink 2017

Galaxy S9 will come in three variants, including a mini version but with same design and dual cameras.
Samsung is preparing its next generation of flagships for launch in 2018, and looks like we already have some photos and numbers to match it up with the rivals.
As reported earlier, Samsung is readying three different models of the Galaxy S9 this time-the Galaxy S9, the Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy S9 Mini. Latest leaks spotted by Forbes reveal that the mini variant will have a 5-inch display, while the other two will be similar to their 2017 counterparts.
All three models will come with Samsung dual-edge-curved 'Infinity' display, unlike previous mini models styled differently than flagship variants. This could make Samsung's foothold stronger in the mid-range segment.
The leak also claims the Galaxy S9 will come with dual cameras with a BABR coating ('broad-band anti-reflection') on the lenses. DSLR lenses use BABR coating to limit ghosting and reflection. The company might also reposition the fingerprint scanner on the device.

A report from AndroidHeadlines also reveals that the phone will use heat pipes for dissipating heat, a setup that has been used on Galaxy S-series and Note series since the 2016.

The phone model SM-G960F, believed to be the global version of the upcoming Galaxy S9, has been spotted on a Geekbench listing as well. The phone scores 2680 points in the single core test which far exceeds that of the Pixel 2 (1685 points). But the iPhone X (4218 points) still remains that king, and so do the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus as they are powered by the same A11 Bionic chip from Apple.
The Geekbench listing also reveals that the phone will be powered by Samsung next generation chipset, the Exynos 9 series 9810 with 4GB RAM. Samsung recently announced Exynos 9810 chipset that is built on 2nd generation 10nm process. It also packs 3rd-generation custom CPU cores and an upgraded GPU, possibly Mali G72. It also supports Gigabit speeds on LTE (something that the new iPhones don't, as they miss out on the required antennas!)
Samsung may also launch variants of Galaxy S9 with Snapdragon 845. A recent report confirmed that Qualcomm will sell the entire first batch of Snapdragon 845 to Samsung for its Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones. Like last year, Galaxy phones will be the first to run the top end chip.
The listing also mentions that the phone will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The Pixels and only a couple of other smartphone run the Android 8.0 Oreo right now as many new phones were launched with the Android 7 Nougat with a promise of an upgrade, OnePlus 5T being the most popular example.
Samsung may announce the Galaxy S9 and S9+ at the upcoming MWC like last year -- which is to start on February 26 and continue until March 1 2018 in Barcelona. Samsung is reportedly planning to schedule the Galaxy S9 and S9+ launch event for February 25.

Lenovo Vibe X3 Review

Lenovo has been on a bit of a spree, launching a number of new smartphones in quick succession. The company is good at creating models that cater to specific needs, such as the Vibe P1 (Review | Pictures) with its oversized battery, the Vibe Shot (Review | Pictures) for camera lovers, the Vibe S1 (Review | Pictures) for those who care most about looks, and most recently, the Vibe K4 Note for the budget segment. We now have with us the brand new Vibe X3, which takes its place at the top of the heap as Lenovo's latest flagship.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 costs just Rs. 19,999 but packs a number of features and attributes that might make it a competitor to phones that cost way more. The spec sheet alone would give us quite a bit to dig our teeth into, but Lenovo has also tossed in a few things that it says improve the user experience in less tangible ways. We'll have to dig deep to find out if that's just a marketing line or if the Vibe X3 really does blow all its competition away.

Look and feel
The Lenovo Vibe X3 looks nothing like the multi-coloured Vibe X2 (Review | Pictures) which launched in late 2014. In fact, it has a very strong resemblance to the Vibe K4 Note, which shouldn't be surprising considering the latter is sold in some territories as the Vibe X3 Lite. The phone comes in a slick oblong box, and you'll find a neat clear plastic case and adhesive screen protector along with the usual charger, USB cable, and headset.

The Redmi Note 5 may be upon us sooner than one would have imagined. After being briefly teased by JD.com, the Redmi Note 5 has been now spotted on OppoMart website. But while the JD.com teaser left everything to the imagination, the OppoMart listing gives away all the specs and pricing details of Xiaomi's soon-to-launch Redmi Note 5.
As per the listing, the Redmi Note 5 will come with a 5.99-inch Full-HD+ display with a 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and an unusual 18:9 aspect ratio which invariably means that the phone will be taller rather than wider, and hence come with a nearly edge-to-edge screen. The phone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clubbed with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. It will run Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 and backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
On the camera front, the Redmi Note 5 is said to come with a 12-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. A previous report had hinted that the Redmi Note 5 may be powered by Qualcomm's newly announced Snapdragon 636 processor. The Snapdragon 636, based on 14nm manufacturing process, supports full screen devices with a FHD+ resolution which means Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 may make use of this functionality.
Since the Snapdragon 636 is expected to start shipping in November, phones powered by the chipset may hit markets by early next year. There have been rumours that there will be two versions of the Redmi Note 5, one with a MediaTek processor for China and another with a Qualcomm processor for markets like India. While Xiaomi may chose to launch the MediaTek version by the end of this year, a Qualcomm-based version may happen sometime early next year.
Additionally, the alleged Redmi Note 5 was previously speculated to come with a dual camera system on the rear consisting of one 16-megapixel camera and another 5-megapixel camera.
The Oppomart listing, however, suggests otherwise as far as processor and camera specifics are concerned. Also, since Xiaomi is yet to make a formal announcement on the same, it is advisable that you take this piece of information with a pinch of salt.
